Hydroviv drinking water filters can effectively filter down to 0.2 microns (0.0002 mm), which includes a majority of microplastics. However, nanoplastics, defined as particles below 1 micron (1000 nanometers), may not be fully filtered by our drinking water systems. For users concerned with smaller nanoplastics, nano-filtration or ultrafiltration may be necessary.
